Our 60 years of experience and know-how provide invaluable benefits for our production facility in Denmark as well as in our close co-operation with our global suppliers. A comprehensive quality-control programme based on the ISO 9000 standard and our own production experience has been implemented with all our suppliers. We have our own quality control engineers always working on site with our suppliers. They ensure that our detailed guidelines are followed all the way through the production process and make sure that the final products are checked before leaving the factory. BoConceptPic6_288.tif

Transparent Table: OCCA 4450

CH-M-BL-2XMONTE-2163-4450

A great looking coffee table with a light and transparent look.

The trapeze shaped design gives the table a very light and modern look, which will make it fit very easy with exciting interiors. The angled legs disappear underneath the table leaving more leg space and making a relative big table appear smaller. The table is available in clear and smoked glass, making it possible to choose different styles. This allows the customer to find a table that matches his exact needs.

The Drop Pendant

Bo Concept74964.tif

Bo Concept74936.tifDrop is designed by Henrik Petersen and is very modern and classic retro in the same time. There are two different colors to choose from: dark grey and petrol blue. Along with a smaller version, which comes in jade green and sand color. The wires are wrapped in a fabric cord that matches the color of the actual lamp. This gives the lamp the look of a real drop of fluid because of the shiny surface. Dorp is a beautiful, classic lamp with a long-lasting look.

Sensual Minimalism: The Ottawa Chair

046.tif

A light and functional dining chair with a great comfort. The design is inspired from nature and creates a surprisingly new look in dining chairs. CH-M-A-LOT-OF-OTTAWAS-2013.tif

Karim Rashid has designed this iconic dining chair. The color options are fresh and give the option of creating both a very casual look and at the same time a rich feeling. The leaf shaped back underlines Karim Rashid´s dedication to nature, while the four pod leg design is an untraditional construction giving the chair a refined, light and also unique look. The stitching marks the craftsmanship which is also a refined detail underlining the great design.

In the Spotlight: Henrik Pedersen

HenrikPedersenTop

Henrik Pedersen graduated as a fashion designer in 1990 but uses his education to explore the full range of design. His interest for maths together with his wide-ranging experience give him an intuitive ability to quickly gauge if a new design will work or not. ‘Experience and knowledge help, but the difference lies in how you use it. Good common sense and a passion for your craft will take you far. HenrikPedersenPhoto

“The creative process is really the same no matter what you design. My education and experience is my toolbox. It’s the materials that make the difference and open up new possibilities.” – Henrik Pedersen, BoConcept Designer

HenrikPedersenImolaInspired by close-ups

One of Henrik’s first pieces of furniture was the iconic Imola chair for BoConcept, and he is one of the leading Danish designers of lamps. ‘I get inspired by seeing things up close. Maybe the handle on an old kitchen appliance or interesting colour combinations as food mix on the plate. Little details that can evolve into a complete product.’ Like the Imola chair that is inspired by a close-up of the lines on a tennis ball.

Defying ‘Gravity’

bilka 76946.tif bilka 76957.tif

The Gravity is not really a pendant – even though it is hanging from the ceiling. It has a mood light, which is suitable next to the sofa – maybe in a corner of the living room or bedroom or as a beautiful sculpture hanging in the hallway or any other place. The lamp has two color versions: black and white and has a great function where you can adjust the height by pressing a button on the top of the lamp. The wire of the lamp is hanging from the bottom and is simply plugged into the outlet in the wall.

Trapezium Table: OCCA 2110

006.tif
The OCCA 2110 Side Table is an elegant and yet practical table for more occasions. Let it carry your laptop or your cup of coffee when seated comfortably in the sofa.003.tif

The shape of the table top is like a trapezium which makes the table both practical and still casual. The base is made with inserts of heavy steel ensuring stability. Despite the light look these make sure the table doesn’t tip over easily. The tube in the frame is placed off-centered of the table top. This makes it possible to use the table in various positions making e.g. working on a lap-top easy.
